Super Easy Apple Chicken Crock Pot Recipe: IBS Friendly! With Tutorial Video!

Hi Everyone!!
Today I am posting my first of many IBS friendly recipe videos. I was looking through a list of non-FODMAP foods and an idea popped into my head! Apple Chicken in a Crock Pot! I have cooked many whole chickens and turkeys stuffed with apples before only with other ingredients added to it. But I have always loved the taste of the apple the most.
Super Easy Crock Pot Apple Chicken:
IBS Friendly!!

The first time I made this, I used my family as genie-pigs and it was a huge hit! My husband even said it was now his favorite of all chicken recipes. Well, I guess he raved about it to his parents and two days later when we went to have dinner at their home, they put in a request for.. Apple Chicken! This time they used a pressure cooker and it turned out just a yummy. Since I have a fear of pressure cookers I'll just stick with my good old crock pot!

Where is the tutorial video I made. It is my first so it's not the greatest but it gives you a good idea on how to make this super easy dish:
7 boneless skinless chicken breast
4-5 apples sliced
4 cups chicken broth
4-6 hours in the crock pot

This is a bulk recipe because it is so versatile and can be easily added to a salad, a bed of Quinoa, or anything you are able to easily digest, if you suffer from IBS. Or if you are like my hubby you can make a shredded chicken sandwich. The list can go on!

Also if you are trying to leave a comment and cannot please feel free to email me at We have been working on fixing this problem but unfortunately haven't seemed to figure it out yet.

Hope you all enjoy!
God bless,
Jacque Heaton
