Finals and Midterms: Mommy's Going Crazy!!!

I feel like I am going crazy and getting a full tour of the nut house padded walls and all.

My online collage I attend, Liberty University, has 4 different class slots. Each semester in 18 weeks, so the slots available are the A term which spans the full 18 weeks, B term starts at the same time as the A term but only lasts 8 weeks The C term begins 4 weeks after the A & B terms starts and is 8 weeks long . Then lastly, the D term, which starts right after the B term ends, and ends at the same time the A term. So they all stagger, which I love!

For this semester I am taking: Foundations of Earth Science as an A term, English for a B term, and Accounting 100 as a D term. The reason this week is so crazy is because come Monday (3/10/14) I will be taking my midterm for Earth Science, and my final for English. On top of that, I have an 8 page review for my science class and an essay to write for English.

Of course my boys are feeding off my stressed energy and going buzzerk. Add that to the cabin fever they are already experiencing, and... well... I'm sure you can image the chaos exuding in the Home of the Heaton's! For me this means a lot of coffee, Yogi stress relief tea and prayer...lots and lots of prayer!!

Unfortunately, for me the rest of life (which I would love to have put on hold), such as laundry, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dishes, Quinton's home school, a husband with a broken leg and keeping the house clean, grocery shopping....the list goes on, as it does in any home with kids, seems to never end. Then there is my IBS, which the biggest onset of  is stress, so that's not helping either.

At the sake of sounding like I'm complaining, with all the above already being said. I have been staying up late nights after the kids are asleep and being woken up by them too early for my taste. So I've been getting very getting little sleep.

Thankfully, my tests are all open notes and open book. So as long as my notes are written adequately, I should do long as they are not timed, like so many of the test have been in the past, I get so stressed out when taking timed tests. I'm a lot better than I use to be, but still don't like it.

I am going to be so happy when Tuesday rolls around, that means I will be done with this week!

Just because I like to add pictures to my posts, I ran across this picture of this mug. This had to be made by someone crazier than myself. Who in their right mind would love midterms? Unless it is a psychological thing, trying make yourself think you love it.

All this aside and with my tea close at hand and constant prayer I am doing my best to:

Hope you all are having a less stressful week!

God bless,
Jacque Heaton
