A Positive Attitude Can Go A Long Way!

Sometimes Mondays can seem like such a dreaded day. But, does it have to be thought of in such a negative way? One of my biggest setbacks is my worry, I worry far too much. With worry comes fear and doubt. Knowing this about myself I try my best to just sit back, analyze the situation, and more times than not, I laugh at myself and think, why am I fretting over things so small. It's our attitude that can make us or brake us. Attitude is our kaleidoscope, if you have one with many colors and shapes you get joy from its beauty. On the flip side if you have one that is all black and gray with sharp ugly shapes the kaleidoscope is not going to be interesting, enjoyable, or inspiring.

So how can we change our attitude? Do something you have been putting off simply because you don't have the time or energy. Make the time, and find the energy, when you do the things you love, it does something to you, it brings you joy!

When you are in a state of doubt or difficult times, just remember this:

Planing for the future is great, but you need to put that plan into action! It's not going to happen on its own. Sure we can dream and spend time in prayer, but even God wants us to put forth effort before He will bless us.

When your attitude stinks, other people can smell it. Its not very pleasing to you or those around you. It's kind of like taking a drive to a specific destination and you get lost along the way. You have 2 choices, you can become frustrated and angry, or you can enjoy the new found scenery and turn it into and adventure and have fun.

I love Dr. Seuss and this is one of my favorite quotes by him. The end of something good does not mean the end of all good things. Keep those memories close to your heart, turn the page in your life and look for the next wonderful thing that WILL come along.

When people know that you love them, it not only makes you feel good, you are able to share it with some one else. You may never know what kind of positive effect you can have on someones life. This one in particular hits home for me. I've had too many people leave this earth, and knowing I didn't tell them "I love you!" enough.

Don't let this stop at family and friends. You never know what a kind word, or a smile, or just a little bit of conversation can to for a person. You have the ability to change the course of a stranger's life for good.

I know I have posted a video of Kid President before, but I strongly encourage you to take the time and watch these 3 little clips. A positive attitude won't change the entire world, but it my change the entire world for one person.
